The MBP uses 2.5" form factors HDs, I would assume so does the MacBook.

I don't know if it's part of the problem, but I am using their nameserver as a secondary server.
I hate to do anything to mess it up, but I don't think it's right.

Resistance 2 features Split-screen online, its pretty fun
However I much prefer Resistance fall of man offline split screen campaign, much more enjoyable.

For those that are interested in anime, I just noticed that Trigun is now being streamed on Netflix. It's a very good anime series and I recommend watching at least the first six episodes.
It's a good one, worth watching.

There is a list to the right of twitter accounts.
MuscleNerd is the most vocal of the bunch. Comex rarely has anything to say that matters to jailbreakers but he'll be the one to announce a jb first I'm sure.

Here is a picture:
Those are actually much, much older than the iMac G3. These are early '90s-era. I remember we had a bunch of them with the Mac LC models (original, II, and III) when I was in school. Most of the school ones were worn out or torn up, but I don't think they're that rare (yet? anyone want to clarify?)

Hey you...that's one hell of an improvement. Font size too small, kind of lingers on black too much at the end - but comparitively speaking, I liked it so much I played it several times. :o

So I just came across this on Yahoo. I guess I can see why they would claim some of their effots are 'legitimate' but it'd be hard to deny that weren't other motives. What do you think, are college students mature enough to vote or should they grow up a little?

I honestly do not have an issue with them losing same day registration but I have been in state that has like a 30 day requirement before hand. It does prevent people from really screwing up were they vote.
Students can still vote just getting the absent ballet. Not that hard to do. Just a little extra paper work to fill out. I did it in 2004.

Hello,
I broke my phone (water damage) and want to get it replaced. My only issue is that I want to upgrade to the iPhone 5 when it comes out. Is their a way for me to get a new phone without renewing my contract? Thanks

Hi there,
Nope! This is a completely different set. The original one from DOD was a 5 MB set while this one is 98MB.

I tried an SMC reset, but i still had one afterwards.
Are you running anything CPU/GPU intensive, that could drive your temps high enough to cause a shutdown? If not, I'd take it back and have them check it out.

We maintain a few computer labs where I work and have some Macs on an Active Directory (AD) domain. The users (mainly students) log in and have their home folder on the network (via smb). It works great; users can take their environment with them wherever they log in and all that jazz.
Is anyone else running such an environment, and have you tried Lion yet? With the way Apple is moving (app store, OS more geared to the consumer) I wonder if these features will remain, or if there are problems integrating Lion into such an environment.
We love the flexibility OS X accords us; we can set up individual machines to either create local home folders for AD users, or use the network home directories, as well as lock down the machines pretty well.

Hello,
I have a PDF that I genereated using Adobe Acrobat Professional which have textboxes to get information and submit button to post data to database. It runs on a webserver and works great on windows and ie, netscape and etc..., when the page is loaded browser loads the pdfviewer shows file as expected but functionality is not there. Submit button on IPAD's PDF viewer does not show up at all as the main problem.
Anyone have a solution to this, will be great if the web app works on IPAD.
Thanks
You're dependent on the iPad's ability to process PDF forms - which is very poor, as you've discovered. Some standalone apps have this functionality (e.g. PDF Expert) but that doesn't help you with respect to your web app. I assume you are using Mobile Safari - possibly you might have more luck with one of the third party browsers like iCab or Atomic but to be honest I think they handle PDFs the same as Safari does.
Personally I would drop the PDF forms from the mobile version of your web app and just use normal HTML forms with PHP to handle the database submissions.

I have a number of JPEGs in grey color profile.
...
, I need to do this with tens and sometimes hundreds of images (x-rays) and importing each one into keynote is not very efficient. Is there a way to batch converting them from grayscale to RGB?
.
Whenever I see something where I need to repeat the same action multiple times, I always take a quick trip to Automator.
I just made a quick workflow with 3 actions:
1) Ask for Finder items
2) Copy Finder items (so you don't screw up the originals)
3) Apply ColorSync Profile to Images (I set it to use my calibrated Colorsync profile, but a generic RGB one would work)
I ran this workflow on a couple of greyscale images, and the result is an RGB image.
Hope this helps,
Tim

You can't export to Pages. However, you can save to .doc and .docx, either of which can be opened in Pages.
But the .docx files cannot be read correctly by Pages. There are lots of incompatibilites.
Do I have to get Office for Mac to solve this?

I can't seem to wake my 2010 15" MBP from sleep with the trackpad using Lion DP2. I have to press the keypad.
Anyone else having the same problem? Is this normal? Any fixes?
thanks
A tap of the trackpad wakes mine. A fix would be to press the keyboard like you have found out :) and file a bug report.

Naturally, the first concern regarding an issue with an Apple product.
You've been using Windows too long. Don't be afraid anymore. :p
