I was in a similar, ish, situation. Other half has Pokemon Black, but our DS Lites don't like our WiFi (how dare we use WPA...), so we decided to upgrade one unit to something more modern.
Initially we bought a 3DS, but sent it back within a few days. The handling of DS games on the upper screen isn't that good to be honest (scaling issues), and we felt the 3D was a waste of time and money. Instead we picked up a new DSi for 95 (love airports), and it's great - less than half the cost, far superior battery life, and also supports WPA and the DSi store.
Something sounds wrong there. I get 4 or 5 hours battery life on my DSi (bought earlier this year so it's not old), my 3DS gets 7 hours battery life on DS games.

OS 9 comes with a utility called Apple System Profiler. On a default installation it should be in your Apple Menu, but if it's not there do a search.

It's probably your email script...
When you have a php form using POST variables like you do (method="post") and your not sure about the form part all you need to do is to put this test code in the page your submitting to in this case contactformprocess.php.
<pre>
<?php
print_r($_POST);
?>
</pre>
<?php exit; ?>
This will print out the POST array showing you all the values that were submitted. That way you know that the form submission is good if you get the expected results and you can then debug the submit to script.
Usually I put in a exit or die statement after the closing </pre> tag to stop the script execution so I can easily see the POST array contents. The <pre> tags aren't needed but they format the array so it's easy to read.

I heard the Porche drives have terrible thermal dissipation. I'd go for the d2, if only for the rack-mounting possibilities.

Hi,..
Things made for vinyl don't sound right digital, similarly things made for digital sound stupid on vinyl (though many artists still sell vinyls in this way). At least this has been my experience.

THEN
learn flash... people want it, plain and simple, but nothing beats the foundations...HTML.

Hey,
I Used To Play This Game For Hours On PC And On Playstation, I Think Its Great That They have Realeased It Onto A More Up-To-Date Console And Its Great With The Touch-Go Use, It Takes Full Advantage of The DS And Still Keeps The Game Going As The PC,Playsation Version.
I Was Expecting The DS Version To Be Much More Difficult To Use, Seeing Theres Less Buttons And Small Screen But It Works Really Well For It!
If You Dont Have It then I Recomend You Go Out And Buy It :)
For Those That Love This Game Lots Like I Do I have Created A Special Forum For Fans :)

The stock analysts have target prices on Apple as high as $550.
I have absolutely no doubt that will happen, so I am holding my large position in Apple.
A broker can give you suggestions how to buy without a SS#.
Apple stock hasn't done anything this year.Whatever you do don't put all your money in one stock. Wait for Ford to drop a little more because of the recall and then buy their stock instead. I purchased a thousand shares back in 08 when it was $2.08 and now I wish I would of bought more.

BS. Where are you getting your info? The CPU does all the work, the HD only stores the info crunched to send back to SETI. I am coming up on my 1st yr anniversary and no problems. My main machine is the G3/300, 6 yrs old and still purring like the day it was new. Just make sure you have a good air flow through the box and everything will be fine. It is the peps that use PowerBooks that burn up your machine, probably because they don't raise it off the table to get air underneath it. I use 1/2" rubber feet and a small desk fan blowing across the unit to cool my PowerBook the fan hardly comes on. My temps never exceed 109F in my G3.
What happens is when you are processing a work unit, the result from each process is written back to disk. Although the data units are small (about 350kb) your Mac is continually reading / writing the data from the same sector of the disk. Think of it as a bush track. Although there is lots of dirt there, over time the people who walk through there make a groove.... Do you want this to happen to a $200 hard drive?
Now, lets say that data unit is somehow fragmented on your drive. Imagine all the work the drive heads have to do to read / write a data result.
This is why you should set up a ram disk - it saves your hard drive and actually speeds up the process. It is always faster to read / write from ram than it is to a HD. ;)

edit - although I do think distributed computing is a great solution to solving problems, I can't see myself being that dedicated setting up a box fan to cool my computer so I can pump out 300 work units a year....

No, they are tied to your Apple ID, so you will not have to buy them again.

if I run system("ls > tmp.tmp") I don't have any problem. I am getting an output to the terminal instead of writing to the file.
