i think you should slow it down, and maybe pause a bit longer at the end. It rushes - i don't get the chance to absorb it. Maybe him drawing a comma might help convey the million idea. I do like it, but i prefer your existing one - it uses timing really well.

I have another question, I have my airport extreme set to only allow the specific MAC addresses of the devices I'm using. Would I be able to continue to use this feature with a switch?

Just ordered a refurbished 11 inch MBA (1.6 C2D/4gb) and a portable 1TB external hdd for my upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. I'll be lugging around enough gear as it is, so my 2.5 year old heavy MBP is going on Ebay!

FYI thread starter since you seemed to get irritated that you didn't get your answer after 31 minutes. :rolleyes: I would suggest google and searching when asking common questions. you can get your answer in seconds rather then minutes or sometimes hours.

Yeah, it sounds confusing at first because you get high res screens so that you can fit more in your workspace. If my Apple introduced a MacBook with a higher resolution screen, but everything on my screen still had the same physical size, it sort of defeats the purpose. However, I think the point is that you can choose the size of the UI elements on your screen without making things look messed up. Right now, if you have an LCD, it has a native resolution. If you want everything to scale to a larger physical size, you'd have to turn down the resolution on the screen, which just messes the look of things.
So if you had a 1920 x 1200 MacBook screen, you can still make the UI elements the same size as they are now (ie: large and easy to see) on the 1280x800 screen. It would just appear sharper on higher res screens. But if you need the resolution and desktop space, you can have it too.

I love iTunes and my iPod, but purchasing music that can only be put on an iPod is crap. There may be a better player out later which I want to go to and then *poof* my ITMS purchased tracks are crap.

Yeah, once I plug in my iPod, it's completely unresponsive for the first 2-3 minutes. I think I noticed that once my iPod sync is complete, it then becomes responsive again.

Though there wasn't anything that tragic about the Zune it just arrived on the Marketplace by far too late to gain any momentum or traction. The other main issue was that it was supposed to be the "first" real competition for the iPod yet it couldn't do anything better than an iPod, the *only* real thing it had upon release over the iPod was an FM tuner (BFD)...
Again I am really surprised they didn't spin off the XBOX360 success with a more integrated or game based Zune, it would have been a winner IMHO.

1TB total is often enough. I have just over that much that much spread over 3 external drives (2 320GB freeagent Go 1st generations, 1 500GB G-Drive Mini 7200rpm). That will fit a lot of pictures. My drives aren't full yet, and in fact I probably have only 500GB of space for pictures, as I duplicate the contents of the drives as a basic backup. (In other words- dont rely on a single drive).
When you're just starting out you'll take a lot of pictures, and I mean a lot. But over time once you learn your camera and photographic techniques that you like, you'll be able to get that 'perfect shot' with just one, so you won't be taking half as many pictures and that will take half as much space. (This is coming from a guy who took 7400 pictures in just two weeks in NYC and Washington DC).

My situation is kind of strange so I'm not sure what to do.
I'm a student about to graduate, however I'm 29 years old and have a lot of professional experience too. A lot of the places I looked at do "student" and "professional" resumes so I'm not sure which to go with since the student resume's seem geared towards getting internships.
The internships I am applying for are for software development positions however my professional experience is in IT doing maintenance, management and repair work on Windows servers and desktops. The only development experience I have is being a hobbyist developer since roughly 1997.
From the research I've been doing people going after development jobs need a technical resume which is formatted differently and generally longer. I'm not sure what these "student" resume's are I keep seeing so I think I will be better off just going with a professional resume.

I like the Feather a lot, used it for both the 3G and the 4. It is IMO, one of the best Snap-type cases, and adds almost no bulk. But it really has very minimal protection, so if that is a concern, look elsewhere. The screen protectors it comes with are crap - they never stick around the edges. Can't really comment on Zagg though.
