BF1942 on the PC, I assume? You can't call that playable at all on a Mac because it's still a PPC only game.
UT2K4 is really your only option if you're talking about playing a game on a Mac.

I plan on running Windows via VMWare or Parallels on my MBP and I heard that Windows 7 requires more CPU to virtualize, I am just wondering if it's true, and if so, is it significant?
I will be running the virtualization probably constantly so I want to avoid anything that might slow down OSX. I hear 7 is the best choice for Boot Camp though, so I'm torn.
Any insight would be appreciated :)

Hello!
I have just moved to Edinburgh, Scotland (a beautiful city!) to work abroad for 6 months or so... I have a powermac at home (in the States) that I thought would be unreasonable to bring with me overseas, and have been planning to get a powerbook when I got here. I had been holding off on ordering one until the Paris Expo in case a new revision was announced, but seeing as the chances of that are quite slim, I am considering just getting one. I do, however, have a few concerns.
I do want a US model, with the US keyboard layout and everything. I also assume that they can take a 220v power line, correct? So I would only need a plug adapter? Also, will it cost an arm and a leg to send the powerbook here, if I order a US model? Not expactly sure how this works... any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They are both the same.
The Apple keyboards feel strange for most switchers at first but then they get use to them and are very comfortable. How long have you have yours?

OP, 15 inches is 15 inches.. Just like 17 inches is 17 inches.
Im not sure why this would change between laptop manufacturers.

ok, so I'm looking for a someone that does coding for online stores for
products that are customizable. *Sort of like when you go to an auto
website and you can order a car and choose options like color, and then
it'll show the image of the car in whatever color you chose, or when you order food online at places like 5 Guys or chipotle.
Funny animals-Kung Fu Cat

I agree with Jessica.
Maybe if you made a game out of it or something like,
outlet-bad=vibrate if you touch
cat-good=ding if you touch
mean cat-bad=don't touch, if you do it vibrates
stove top-bad=pass by DING
You can use this as a learning tool or make a game where you have to decide on a speed test or something. I can see some potential with something like that, not as simple as you wanted maybe, but this would appeal to a wide range of people.
I'll be expecting my 30%
Thank you. :D

Ok, heres the deal-
I got DSL, ordered a bunch of networking stuff along with it. The focus is on the router/modem which directs our network of 3 computers. The router (made by 2wire-its a homeportal 1100) has 3 ways to connect to it, phoneline networking (HPNA), ethernet and USB. I need to connect with usb. The installed extensions that it came with don't seem to mesh with it. In the system profiler it says that it its driver is the USB communications extension, which doesn't seem to exist on my computer.I need the homeportal to use the extension that came with it...not some stuff that I dont have. is there any way to make it so that the homeportal is driven by the "Homeportal USB" extension? The homeportal shows up in the System profiler, but not in TCP/IP, where I need to select it so that I can get onto the internet. This kind of tells me that the USB port works. I already got a replacement portal, after spending way to many hours on the phone with 2wire tech support, and the situation is the same. I ahve already trashed the TCP/IP prefs, tried different USB cables, reinstalled about 25 times etc etc. but I just realized that it is posible that the portal just isnt using the right extensions.
Here is what the system profiler says about the homeportal:
Communication (2Wire USB Remote NDIS Ethernet)
Product ID: 66 ($42)
Vendor: Vendor 5680 (2Wire Inc)
Driver version: 1.0.2
Driver name: USB Communications Extension
Power (mA): 500 ($1f4)
Release number: 1.0
Serial number:
I hope that one of you can shed some light on this subject. Thanks!

I bought an iPod touch 4g 64gb on thanksgiving , that came factory installed 4.2.1, pc model... I was wondering if there was a reliable untethered jb that wouldn't slow down my iPod or drain the battery... I am on a pc, btw...
Thanks!
Seeing how you got your device with 4.2.1, you would not have the required shsh blobs to jailbreak with redsn0w. Hence, you are not able to jailbreak untethered with the current beta version (which requires 4.2b3.shsh), nor when it is officially released (which will require 4.1.shsh).
I would suggest you look at the upcoming greenposion RC5 release, seeing how that will be the only jailbreak to provide untethered support for your situation.
