What's your point? That competitors will now also use 8MP sensors? Well, they already have been using them for quite a while. Apple is simply doing a catch up here. By the time iPhone gets 8MP, other phones will have 10MP or more.

I have gotten a little bit of this as well today.
I just remind those individuals that Apple does not make batteries. Then I tell them where Apple gets their batteries from (i.e. Sony) then people usually are quiet after that. :)

Yeah, it definitely would be a great machine to watch HD movies on from the new iTMS Movie Store. And after that, combined with Leopard's as-yet-unannounced super-secret built-in Media Center technology, the next iMac revision will see 30" displays with built-in TV tuners, HDMI, etc. :eek: :D

For Nintendo back in the 80's, there was massive outcry. Not only did they gatekeep but they had a high licensing fee and capped the number of releases per year per developer. So yeah, devs were pissed. Atari even lied to the patent office just so they could reverse engineer the lockout chip (and got sued for it).

Is it just me, or does the new iTunes logo look horrible in the dock? It doesnt seem to match anything, and it just doesnt look as "clean" as the typical dock logos have been/should be. When i went to click iTunes for the first time and it changed from the nice/clean green logo to this blue cheesy looking 1995 icon, I was pretty surprised!

Considering that one of the first uses for most new technologies (such as the "book" and "moving pictures") has traditionally been porn, why not have an emergency "boss" or "wife" button to flick to a boring business report or something else preconfigured. Of course that might only work if they don't know of the feature themselves. iPorn. Gotta Love It.

The President cannot simply go to war because he feels like it.
Sure he can, Obama had no trouble starting this illegal war. Heck, at least Bush let Congress take a vote and approve the measure first. Obama jumped in head first without even thinking or engaging in any dialog. On top of that, it's a slap in the face to the American people, as he didn't even bother to give a speech and present his case, explain what he planned to do. Bush at least had the decency to do that.

As I eagerly await delivery of my first iPad, I know that I want an iPod that will only play music. When I am exercising, I don't want to receive phone calls or emails, I just want music, and I want a device that will hold all of my 12,145 songs, with room to grow.

I'd bet a large part of the negotiations are how the OTA updates would be billed. Apple wants the OTA update transparent and free for metered internet plans. Verizon wants money for each OTA update.

Hopefully its tomorrow or the 16th for the MBP, but im done getting my hopes up. All this waiting is especially frusterating for me because this is my first mac and i am sure the c2d model will suit my needs for years. I am just a tech junkie waiting for the next best thing. :(

Android Phone Specs are out pacing the Iphone. An 8 Megapixel camera, bigger screen and more memory will keep me buying. IOS 5 with the rumored adobe flash would be great too.

I've wanted to do a mod like that for awhile, but those cases will easily run $100 for something with scuffs, or $175 for a case without, and I just can't justify spending so much on a case.
