Skunk, all that you have presented above is one interpretation based on things we know about the history of the Canaanite people. This proposition posits that the history the Bible describes is not factually based, but a reinterpretation.
As I said before, I agree that much of the Canaanite people practiced polytheism. However, I believe, as scripture details, that God established a covenant with Abraham and from this covenant the Jewish nation was born. This action precipitated a change from polytheism to monotheism. I don't believe the commonalities that you point to indicate revisionist history. Many religions and mythologies share common concepts, common language, common historical figures, etc. Take Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as an example. They each have their own concepts of historical figures like Abraham and Jesus.

My point was, how 'bout if the USA reduces its military spending to $1 less than the Canadian military budget? Then the Canucks are the badasses, and we Yanks fall in line with the rest of the world. Everybody's happy.

No one cared until the X-Factor show made the theme for last week's songs "The Beatles". Suddenly millions of UK TV viewers cared. The long "Beatles now on iTunes" adverts aired in the breaks just increased the profile.
Plus (i could be wrong) Simon "Money Whore" Cowell has his fingers in Sony who co-own the rights to The Beatles catalogue!?

The iPad, no matter how parasitic it is, is still a real computer. :rolleyes:
And wow at all the people "finding problems" with OTA updates. Android has been at it for years on many carriers and with many different data caps in place, rooted phones, phones with custom ROMs, etc.. and yet none of those guys whine about OTA updates. The Apple crowd really needs to get with it. It's optional people, it is for Android, no reason it wouldn't be for iPhone.
Options are good.

How is this system implemented? As our iPhones are online (unless manually disengaged) 24/7, Apple must be communicating with it to determine whether your iPhone needs an incremental update. As such, the user has to engage the update, correct? It is not automatic?
As I quickly read the article my first (knee jerk) reaction was control and jailbroken iPhones being tracked and harder to use if Apple implements such a feature.

Time Machine seems more like the Shadow Copies on Server only on a local level rather than a network drive. (example attached)
I'm assuming they will use a form of Single Instance Storage with TM, so you have one copy of the file and only the deltas from any changes to reduce space requirements.

It seems very slow to me. The new iTunes spends at least 2 minutes "Loading iTunes Library" before the main screen appears. iTunes 6 never did that and it didn't take as long to load :(

So how do you work this Album Artist tag?
What I would expect is to put the artists (separated by comas or something) in that tag, and then that song will show up under all those listed artists.
The way it is now doesn't make any difference in organization/categorization of the archive.
How do you guys use it?It works for soundtracks or compilations, It is used to organize the albums better. Its very handy.

A couple years ago, 4G meant LTE. Now it means HSPA+. I have no doubt that the next iPhone will be 4G capable, but it won't be LTE. I doubt that delaying the typical launch would have anything to do with including 4G.
