the truly funny part could come 15 years from now when his Football teammates are sending his picture all over the clubhouse with silly captions attached to it.

Only the RAM it sees. The address space for the remaining RAM is not available to the OS. This is a chipset limitation and appears both in OSX and Windows.

I have to say, I do like the simplified version of the logo that Apple are now using on their website and Apple TV - when do you think this will come across the the other iOS devices?

If you're coming from another programming language like C++ you can kind of think of the (+) functions as static member functions. And they are often used as a pseudo factory methods. For example a car class
+ (id)carWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;
vs
- (id)initWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;
+ (id)carWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;
vs
- (id)initWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;

Post photos of your car sporting Apple-inspired license plates or just maybe an Apple decal. Please ensure you mask your actual license plate from your car if you are just showing a decal and do not want the internet to know your information, not that anybody cares.

I've been trying to replicate this to give you a good answer, because it has happened to me. Of course, when I try to make it happen then it won't.
But, I believe the answer is to click the "Quick Preview" button on the lower right corner of the pane when you display a photo. It is the rectangle with three little lines radiating from it. Try that.
App 3 is not particularly intuitive to me...

Has you account been hacked or why is your post this garbled now?
And there is not much difference between an i5 and i7 on the 13" MBP.

I'll try resetting both when I get home and see if it makes any discernable difference. Will Apple still cover the cracking even though AppleCare has been expired for a little over a year?
it really depends on your local apple store and the level of customer service they have. Some do out of warranty repairs like plastic damage that isn't normally covered under warranty while others are really strict with not doing any user-damage repairs even if still under warranty

Hello all.
I set up a macbook pro as I wanted. I used OSX one one partition, Win7 on the other, installed all the apps required on both partitions and all was working beautifully.
The problem is that I have an identical macbook pro that needs the same set up, so I ghosted the disk, and restored the ghost image to the second machine. The mac partition works great and was as expected. The Win7 partition however DOES show up in the disk util, DOES show up in the startup disk options but DOES NOT show up in the boot manager. In the disk util the partition isnt bootable, and I cant seem to get it to work!
I've tried the old '$sudo fdisk -e /dev/disk0' and flagging partition 3 and setting it to active, but thats about all I could think of.
If anybody out there has any more ideas please feel free to send them my way. I need to get that partition active and it just doesnt seem to move!
I'm a bit of a n00b to the whole MacOS terminal thing so go easy on me haha!

Unfortunately, that will only pump songs to my iDevice within my LAN.
So... this is not a good solution because I want to be able to access my entire itunes library on the go. I hope the rumors are true and iTunes is gonna flippin use its data center for once and supply people their music on the go with just a 3G connection
Well you can try something like setting up a NAS server at home and connecting to it, or using AMAZON's cloud player or using something like sugarsync to upload to the cloud and play from there :)

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone out there knows of a place to investigate various PDA's as a friend of mine's mother want to buy her son one (he's 29 :) )but knows nothing about them, so she asked me but it's not something I really know too much about either.
He's a pc user so mac compatability isn't really needed.
Any help would be appreciated as most of the site's I've found are useless.
Thanks
