I don't have an iPad 2 yet, as I live in the UK. Just curious as to your reason for selling.

Well first off, I don't think there has been much of a performance difference from the i5 and i7 on the 13". There is some definite gain going from the 13" to the 15" though. So if you were considering the 13" I would urge to go the i5 route. You could save that money for a SSD or RAM or something like that.
What about screen size? Have you used a 13" or a 15" screen? Some people find that the 13" is just too small...so maybe a 15" with HiRes or something for you if that's the case.
Hopefully I'm not confusing you even more as to what to get.

I do not qualify for early upgrade. Also, I plan to upgrade to iPhone5 when it comes out (as I will qualify for upgrade then.)
I just swapped my black one out at Apple, I haven't even used it yet, so I'm trying to figure what it would cost to sell this, and get a white.

For awhile now (before and after various point upgrades) I've been seeing something that is a little odd. When I save items to my desktop, I end up getting multiple "copies" of them. Except they aren't really copies, but just duplicate icons. If I throw one of them away, they both go.
Here is an example:

As you can see, it doesn't happen to all files all the time (and never to hard drives or CDs). What's even stranger is that occasionally, if I'm saving a file to the desktop, or modifying an existing desktop file, the icons multiply even more:

I've tried most things (repairing permissions, rebuilding user account, etc.) with no luck. I'm assuming I might need to do a fresh install or something.

Microcenter has the 2011 13" i5 model on sale for $999 plus tax. You can't beat that deal (assuming you have a Microcenter nearby).

I don't know what ag(PET) stands for...so I wouldn't be able to answer your question.
If ag stands for Anti-Glare, then I'd suggest the iFrogz ones...pretty good IMO

The hard drive is unplugged (booting from the floppy) and all its been doing for the last 6 years is display the time.
Can my clock's fan be unplugged safely? Its not loud, but the white noise ruins the silence when I'm trying to read a book.

Simply Computing on West Broadway are also selling it at 6PM.
They're staying open until 8PM.
I wish I could go but I have major plans that night.
Given that it's not an Apple store I'm sure they won't be giving out the t-shirts though. Us Canadians don't get any of that stuff. Being the poor cousins. Eh?

I know Stanford said they update every 6 hours on their webpage, I was just wondering when I will get added to their list? I've been folding for around 5 days now and just finished my first WU about 3 hours ago. Should my stats already be there, or will they show up eventually? The application tries to load, then tells me that I don't have Java 1.6.
When I go to the Java website, it seems like I need an Intel Mac to upgrade and further.
Going to try with my bro's intel Mac laptop tonight. Wanted to stream some pictures from a recent vacation.
I'm due for a new computer soon, but was hoping to use this one in the mean time.
If anyone knows of a pre-intel program that will allow the Mac to talk to the PS3, let me know.

I had a friend look in her /System/Library/Frameworks in one of the frameworks folders: she said there was no subfolder or symlink "Headers" in it. IOW, the headers are only installed if you install XCode. They do not affect the function of the framework itself in any way at all. The only thing I imagine you can expect to happen is weird behavior from GDB.

Airport Extreme. Doesn't come with a disk. Supports HFS+. Unlike the Time Capsule, you can connect your hard drive to a Mac via USB.
Seriously, though, HFS+ is a hack, and Apple knows it. It was introduced in Mac OS 8.1, and it was never intended to be used for as long as it has been. Why do you think they tried to put UFS in 10.0 and ZFS into Leopard? From what I've read, ZFS would be a much better file system to be interested in.
Except HFS+ today wouldn't recognize itself if it saw its own picture from the 8.1 days. As long as Apple keeps improving it, it'll keep chugging, but I do agree that it either needs an overhaul, or be replaced. Filesystems have a lot of potential, most of which isn't realized with HFS+. It's unfortunate what happened to Apple's attempt at porting ZFS. We can only hope they'll have a try at that again someday.

It's my first visit to the forum having unsuccessfully searched various freelance sites looking for a Mac programmer. I was hoping someone could help me build some simple software for OSX?
Looking for a software that will:
1) Search and return 150 related articles each from ezinearticles.com, goarticles.net, articlesbase.com, articlecity.com from given keyword/s
2) Randomise and shuffle collected articles/text into format:
Title from Random Article 1

First 2 paragraphs from Random Article 1
