its up and running!!!
4.8 Terabytes over 5 Hd's, 2Gb of Ram, Dual 867Mhz G4 processors and I'm a happy man!
Just need the graphics card to arrive and I'm pretty much done hardware wise. Then its just setting the machine up.

BTW no pictures as yet. Being a noob to tower based systems I didn't order long enough data cables so the inside is real messy. I think I'll just go for 1 meter length cables and cable tie them in place nice and neat. That will aid airflow as well.
One thing just quickly. As Nap is now working, is the connector that the main system fan normally plugs into throttled? Its just that at the moment I've got the fan plugged into a 12v supply and its running max rpm all the time. I would like to get it temperature controlled to keep the noise down even more.

You could go all "over-zealous super-parent" on him and really weird him out. Start giving him advice on technique, how to stay focussed to make it last longer, positions etc. Ask him for anything cool he might know to spice up YOUR sex life.

Wu's stock price target of $92 I think is another good indication of how crappy of an analyst he is. AAPL is currently trading at $88.24 (of course it's probably changed since then). I know it probably won't close at the price but there's only a $4 gap between that and the target. I would be very surprised if between now and MWSF, given all of the expected big announcements (and the crashing of the Zune), if the stock price does not rise higher. Then again, I'm not exactly a stock broker...
I think that this shows how close he is coming to his estimate. He predicted $92 a few months ago and look at how close the stock is to that price right now.

Hey guys, n00b question here: I recently bought iFlat4 HD for my fourth gen iPod Touch. It's an amazing theme and I love it, but I just saw iFlat 2 HD on Themeit. Just wanted to know witch ones newer and better and what the differences are. Another thing is when I applied iFlat4 the Camera, Maps and Photos icons stayed stock, any way to fix this?

Don't you guys realize that the reason all these half credible sources are saying all this wishy washy stuff is because Apple is keeping this launch under tighter wraps than any other after what happened with the iPhone 4. Regardless of what they do, we all know it will be phenomenal and ground breaking, but I seriously doubt anyone will get a sneak peak any time soon.

I am trying to decide if you are serious. I suspect most people here understand what a cache is. I think most have a pretty good idea about cell tower triangulation. We are the people SJ is talking about. I'm not sure what the point about understanding technology is about - why do we NEED to know how a smartphone does what it does? It would be nice to understand what features can be turned off if we feel it is outside our comfort zone.
A user may not be bothered about his firewall, he wants it to do what it supposed to. Do you think that the average person would be happy that it sends a feed of the traffic back to the OEM to target the owner for advertising? I seem to remember Belkin had a similar issue some years ago and hurriedly rushed out a firmware update after it was caught.
I'm not talking about people here, on an technology-related internet forum - I'm talking about the people on the street who heard about this and could only imagine this story was about Apple tracking their users. Most people are not aware of the process involved in finding your location. It could definitely be said that they could benefit from being educated.

Is there space for a 12.7mm hard drive inside the 2010 unibody mac mini? Bought a 1.83 mini and would only take a 9.5mm HDD. I need to know if there is space for the larger drive.

like the BMW K1 prototype which also achieved a value of 0.23 despite being a full 4 door saloon
another interesting car: the Fiat Turbina prototype: which had a coefficient of 0.14 (a record for 30 years) but any further development shelved because of problems with the expieremental fuel gazzling overheating turbine engine ;)

It is amazing and inspiring that engineers working with slide - rulers and wind tunnels (and without fancy computers) could achieve the same kind of drag coefficients on their designs that modern supercomputers can come up with.
However - I still think my point stands ("Steadiness"). While small production cars may have been aerodynamic - the industry average was not. In fact I could argue that as engine efficiencies improved, industry wide, aerodynamics got worse because the overall mileage stayed much the same (or improved slowly).
