Hallmark for Mac is the best that I've found. Easy to use with your own design from the included images or from their designs where you can edit most of the type.

thanks for the suggestion, can I use my own photographs in the card designs?

It's separated into two partitions, one appears to be 209MB, rather than GB, which is pretty small. That's likely for the partition table, so there's nothing to worry about with the capacity, it's 160GB as advertized.

    ^

did you partition, clone, or do a fresh install with the SSD? most likely a table like alust said, in which case you are fine

I'm running an iBook G4 with the most recent version of leopard. I tried to calibrate the color profile and I messed it up. Now there is far to much contrast and the colors are off.

However I have noticed that when it is in the installing updates screen before it restarts the color is back to normal.

No matter what I do I can't get the default color profile that I'm seeing on the installing updates screen to activate. Any suggestions?

That's strange, the console version should be a bit faster then the gui version. Especially on older/slower machines. All of the cpu power goes to crunching the WU, there isn't a bit that helps the graphics card making the picture, so the console version should be faster.

not easily done if you don't know what your doing, and even then results may vary.

Typically a product like Soundsoap would be used, but this works best on consistent sounds (machinery hum, camera noise). A "beep" needs to be isolated. On a graphics equalizer the sound should be in the upper range while the human voice is in the mid's. Using any decent audio program or even FCP bring the upper levels down to try and reduce the sound. Taking out the highs entirely though will produce a distorted speaking voice and this approach is in general going to produce rough results unless you know what your doing.

An audio specialist can work magic (i'm not) and can for example, recreate the highs that have been filtered out or just isolate the beeps with good frequency analysis, but this is rapidly leaving my area and certainly your software.

What you should get depends on what you need he machine or and how long you wish to keep it.

Buy vase RAM from Apple and add 3rd party yourself.

ooh! check it out, i'm on fire!

if people submitted a list of songs for weighted recommendation, you could return the results by relevance!

for instance, let's say you submit 10 songs, and 10 playlists match all 10 songs, and all 10 playlists recommend song X. probably a great match for you, since it came from playlists that share your criteria exactly, and was recommended by all.

and now imagine that another 10 playlists only match 8 songs, and of those playlists, 8 suggest song Y. well, still a decent match for you, but these playlists aren't quite as in tune with yours, and song Y isn't quite as well-recommended. so it gets returned below song X. and so on and so forth.

man, i'm good! if i weren't so lazy, i'd take this idea and make my own site with it!

Do these require a flash? Unfortunately I have a RAID-10 in my machine and I can't do Bootcamp unless I could put it on a USB drive.

I think you might get more help if you posted this in the Collectibles forum. [Mod Note: Moved]

Having said that, please don't clean anything out with water. Also, from what little you described I would not think it had anything to do with a hard drive.

I have a .m4v movie burned on a data dvd-r. I wanted to play it on my ps3 but it comes up as "corrupt data". This has happened to me before so I change the extension to .mp4 and it usually works. This time i'm not having any luck. Oddly the file works fine when i play it from a flash drive. Any idea why it isnt working from the disk?

Some days ago, i also posted such a topic in forum to ask for suggestion on a case with kickstand.

Finally i bought this one`(http://www.pocketsdemon.com/search?productid=1_28_246) and got it. It's a very usefull case with a kickstand on the back, i love it.

Spent $14.99 on it (including shipping fee and a free screen protector), that's not exactly expensive.

I haven't, but I did consider it after graduation last year.

While I worked for Apple retail in college I actually got to meet a young lady going through this program and I spoke with her about her experience. From what she said, it seems like a truly unique and worthy experience if you are interested in joining Apple in a retail aspect long-term. This could be in a retail store or with Apple's corporate retail division (or so she said).

Looking back, I wish I had applied. A word of caution though, she told me that the acceptance rate is very low at around 2% of applicants. Just a heads up.

Best of luck if you consider and apply for the program!

It's easier if you order it and bring it with you. Since you have a US address, it should be reasonably easy to order to be sent there and then ask friend/family to bring it over or mail it. Trouble with mailing is that you do run the risk of hitting customs/excise although you should be able to claim it back since you're not a permanent resident.

In terms of what you'll need to use it over here, just a UK plug adaptor. If you have friends with an old iPod power adaptor, you can pull off the old plug part and stick it on your new Powerbook adaptor.

Only half of my rigs have the problem, don't know why... Maybe it is unit specific.

Excellent answer I hadn't thought of that. That's probably exactly the problem. They are probably issuing a new unit that requires the updated client. This unit is probably only issued to specific CPUs and also based on time to complete.

I added a folder to Xcode with a collection of images, 456 images to be precise. I need to add these images to an NSMutableArray so I can later view them in an IKImageBrowserView. I could add each of these images manually to the NSMutableArray, but that would take a very long time. How can I access folders that are used by my program and add them to an NSMutableArray?
    Thanks

Why would it take a long time? This is what loops are for.

Problem is, most iPod utilities I've tried can't transfer the ratings back along with the song file! I know this sounds like a minor little problem, but I took DAYS getting those songs rated and I would HATE to have to do that again! The songs ARE still rated on the iPod; I can see the ratings when I click the iPod icon in the "source" pane on the left. How do I get them all back into iTunes?

    Thanks for any help!!

:( I'm not entirely sure it's possible. I've had a series of issues with my ipod (2nd gen 10GB) and usually the ratings, start/end changes, dB adjustments, etc. end up getting wiped out whenever there's a major problem.

In all likelihood, you'll have to copy the songs back to the machine and start over.

Who knows tho. I might be wrong. Which apps are you using to pull the files off the ipod?

Can somebody please provide me with some instructions? I don't understand how to jailbreak it AGAIN with greenp0ison.

I jailbroke 4.1 in november 2010 when there was that whole fight between greenp0ison and limer1n. So right now I have ios 4.1 with greenp0ison jailbreak.

Now I want to upgrade to iOS 4.2 and I don't know the process. Do I just use itunes to upgrade to 4.2 and then download new greenp0ison and run it?

    Thanks!
