Photobucket, Flickr, etc. None of them accurately show the color in this photo as I see it straight off of the card. It's a lot warmer before the upload. Oh well:cool:

I have to go mucking around with plugins to get Flash out of my face on OS X, compared to the iPhone, which does it for me. :rolleyes:
All jokes aside, I personally don�t like Flash, but I�m not quite sure I see the evil of just having the option for it on the iPhone.

In addition to my promise to run around naked and post the video to the Internet if iMac gets Conroe, I will do the same if they introduce a phone at WWDC.

I installed Core Duo Temp bofore I updated my Macbook firmware. I got a logic board and heastsink replancement (and a lot more apparently... the list is pretty long, looks like they changed everything except RAM and HDD). Core Duo temp reported 10*C core temperature (90 % CPU at 2 GHz). It used to be in the 60s before that... After the firmwareupgrade the report was correct again (60*C).
PS: I have a screw in the middle of the bottom. Dunno if it has always been there. It could inded have been addd to hold the new (different) logic board and the heatsink in place so both won't touch ach other. But it doesn't look like it was added afterwards... is there anyon who didn't get his macbook repaired yet have this screw too? It's exactly in the centre of the shell on the bottom of the case. Just beeing curious. :-)

Are you kidding? Netflix destroyed it with streaming. Disney and Sony aren't even advertising for it anymore. The Blu Ray players are being sold dirt cheap at clearance sales because it's a dying/dead format.
And I never liked it anyway, the 25 GB disc wasn't filled all the way because of the stupidly lossy compression, and it was expensive.
Maybe, but up here in Canada we have to pay through the roof for bandwidth so Netflix is kind of lame. I don't think all the players are being sold that cheap there are just more companies making cheap ones for the masses. I personally like Blu Ray for the quality that Netflix can't offer.

You are limited by the focal length, which is dictated by the thickness of the device. There is no magic way around this.

The board that oversees what the top 3 executives do at Apple knows more than you about production issues of MILLIONS of hi-tech devices.
Anybody familiar with production and distribution issues knows that despite excellent planning there may be issues during production that cannot be forecast.
Selling and shipping MILLIONS in a few weeks is a exactly fiasco for whom?
There are a lot of haters on this site. And I mean a LOT.
Plus there are a few people who have zero connection with reality. The type of people who ignore COGS, have no understanding of the economics of consumer electronics manufacturing and marketing, and disregard the basic laws of Newtonian physics. Basically, people who live in an effing dreamworld based on an totally domestic American worldview largely based on sci-fi movies and pop culture, with no real world experience as a contributor to a global economy.

I agree that this would be cool, but what would make it even better is enhanced iSync or other capability for third parties to take advantage and make content available. I suppose the iTMS could handle it, but the user should be able to load whatever he or she wants on it, I would think.

there was a thing last week where tweetdeck's new app was pulled because it crashed constantly. most of the problems with Windows over the last 20 years have been third party apps and drivers and not the OS itself, yet MS got the blame. Apple learned a lesson from that. it took MS years to change the architecture to limit bad code from developers
By offering applications both ways you have an advantage. Apps that want to be listed on the App store need to pass all the usual tests and review process.
By offering applications via your own website you get a warning saying the app wasn't reviewed by app, use at your own risk blah blah blah.
