You can buy from a non-university/college network, but it requires that you're 18, and therefore it most likely only applies to university students. Or others in further education past the age of 18.
Edit:Just checked, it also requires that you have a valid student card, so I'm assuming this backs up the above thought.

I've taken excellent care of this iPhone for the past 5 months. There's nothing wrong with it internally or externally, and all the original parts and packaging are included.
I'm not familiar with how the switch-out process happens. Do I need to get my new phone before sending out the old one, so that I can swap sims? Or do I just need to plug in my new phone to iTunes and tell it to transfer the AT&T account over to it, and it'll disable the old one? How does it work?
I'm looking to get $350 for it.
Thanks

The only thing you've succeeded in doing is proving that it's YOU who knows nothing about taxation. How about I list just ONE tax on accumulated wealth?
The Death Tax
The estate tax is a tax on the transfer of money from the estate of someone who died and their heirs. It is collected at the estate level for simplicity and to avoid requiring multiple heirs filing tax returns on the receipt of money.
That is NOT the accumulation of wealth that is being taxed, but the transfer.
So, since you were wrong there, care to try again?
(edit) Just so you don't think I'm being mean, there are some taxes on assets, namely real estate and in some states ad velorem taxes (but I'm not too familiar with that particular tax as it is not in my state).

As I posted in a more obscure thread,
Never forget that the zune brought us this:
http://static.flickr.com/103/294929001_b67b0b5225.jpg
I still find it a little disturbing but I think it's also possibly the single funniest thing I've ever seen involving Microsoft.
I have never actually used a zune. They looked ok really, except the brown one (IMHO).
I was about to say - here's my original post:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=3059225&postcount=12
plus the Ballmer quote:
"I want to squirt you a picture of my kids. You want to squirt me back a video of your vacation...
That's [an] experience," he said.
OMG - what did she get "squirted"?
;)
Ah, threads about Zune - good times... :D

As mentioned, all I got was an NSException error in the message and the emulator crashing.
I'll consider what you said but have no idea what you mean by disrespecting people which is 100% not my intent.

Having Apache running on your computer, and the appropriate ports open on your firewall does theoretically make your computer more vulnerable, but in reality it's definitely not a "sure fire way to get hacked". As long as you take appropriate security measures, like having your firewall set up correctly and turning off things such as Server Signature your chances of getting hacked are quite slim. Apache is what powers a large portion of websites across the world, and if it in itself was that vulnerable websites would go down a lot.
Having a dynamic IP will greatly decrease your chances of getting hacked, as well, because it will change each time your modem gets reset, making your virtually un-findable for any would-be hackers. (Unless you use some sort of DynDNS service that is).

I agree it is a pain in the ass. I hated Column View when I first used it, but now I hate it when Finder decides to open a folder in any other view anything else. I have had the experience less since I updated to 10.3.8.

Yep, I'm with you on that. It already bugs me that my Prius has a black box for accidents and a GPS built in (for the nav system.) Why do we *trust* this government to not ask companies to turn that information over (just like they asked for our phone records) and for these corporations getting billions in tax incentives to eagerly comply? Now if you carry a GPS, government will be able to know where you are at any moment. I'm not buying it unless Apple includes a pledge with the product that they will fight to protect my legal rights if any government agency asks for these records without probable cause.
Um hello...
GPS units do NOT broadcast out to the world your location. They recieve only.
Now, your cell phone broadcasts out your location to the world, but you don't seem too worried about that now do ya?
Now, if indeed this is an iPhone, then you're already broadcasting your location so who cares... but GPS units all by themselves only receive signals from satelites.

That was the first thing I thought of! :D
To be honest, I think permanently branding yourself with ANY company logo is idiotic.

I guess they wanted to inconvenience them millions of subscribers just to delay the small minority of AT&T customers willing to jump ship
Its more likely an unscheduled outage, or problem with their system

Portal 2 on my 2010 with 5870 plays at 2560x1440 perfectly smoothly on the default graphics which, while not the highest in terms of AA, are very good indeed.
I also noticed that Portal 2 doesn't cause the fans to spin up as much as the old Portal did.

Necessary information: I have a MacBook 13. It is on A/C power virtually all the time. (I calibrate the battery once a month, every month) When I go to bed, I do a shut down. During the day, after use I put it to sleep until I need it again. This sleepwake cycle occurs about 10 to 12 times a day.
I have been advised that it is better the computer to go into Preferences>Energy Saver and set sleep to never, as battery conservation is not an issue (alway on A/C power). Also to set the screen to shut down in approximately 10 min.
Which is better for the computerto put it to sleep after each use, or to leave it running all the time until bedtime shut down.
Thanks for your advice

How do you know? I called to ask and they said they got nothing today as they get no shipments on Sunday.
A guy that I know from the line called me today and said so. He was mad because I told him not to go today because I thought they wouldn't have any also. They may have had some because of late shipments from Saturday. Either way I wouldn't plan on going to wait in line tomorrow morning.

If you don't calibrate your battery, the battery monitor will be incorrect. The compter may think the battery is empty when it is not and force sleep. The computer may think it is full when it is not and not charge all the way. You don't have calibrate it right away. Do a full charge that night while you sleep. Then don't charge it again after you use all the battery. The discharge doesn't have to happen all at once, but the recharge does.

You can easily tell when whoever submits [E] to SpyMac you know either it's been given a Photoshop job, or someone has too much time on their hands, assuming the grease on their hands is time. :p
Yet some of us still wonder what's up with iPhone.org and/or MacMate. If anyone ever gets to talk with d'man (in some cases, again), ask him about this, and the forums. :p :D
