I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

I can recover the pictures, but it is something I'd need physical access to the phone to do.
Just curious as to "how" you would do so? Had a friend who's phone was toast and I wish I could have helped...

Hello guys, new poster here. I have nowhere else to go except for the Apple store which I do not want to do just yet.
Last night, I was getting out of my car and I had my iPhone on my lap. Naturally I forgot that it was there and it fell on the floor. I inspected it for damage and didn't see a scratch or anything. I get inside and further inspect the phone and I noticed that it shut off. I tried to turn it on like normal, and then once that did not work, I tried to reboot it (home and power held down together) and that did not work. I also noticed that it fell where the Vibrate On/Off switch was, because of a scratch I could not see outside.
Anyway, I tried charging it via USB and then rebooting it. All that would happen is the Apple screen came up for about 10 seconds tops and it would shut off by itself. I tried charging it via the wall charger and I got a bit farther:
the Apple screen would show up, and go through the normal motions. It told me I needed to plug it into iTunes (which I can't) so I knew I had to have screwed something up. All I am able to do is make an emergency call. The phone says I have No Service, it is the wrong time, it also has an alarm icon near the battery, and the battery itself is saying it is charging from 0%-1%. Once I take it off of the charger it dies right away. I did some research this morning before posting and I found that it could be that the battery had come loose in its fall, or screw came loose, whichever.
Have any of you experienced this before? Have a solution? Anything?

You mind as well suggest he gets a 42" LCD TV as your suggestion obviously has nothing to do with what he was looking for.

I personally would pick the classic simply because I love having the capacity to hold most of my collection without having to pick and choose.
If you..
- want a smaller player
- need FM radio
- want a (poor) video camera
- have a tendency to drop things (since it is flash based it can take beatings better than the classic can)
- have a small enough collection or can easily pick what you want and don't want.
- You don't plan on expanding your collection much.
Go with the 5th Gen Nano
If you..
- want superior battery life
- want superior capacity
- hard drive fragility isn't a issue for you
- interested in holding video (16GB nano isn't going to do much for holding video)
- don't mind the larger form factor (some prefer it, fits much more comfortably in hand for me in comparison to the nano)

I find that interesting...why not use newer iPods?
I have an idea! Maybe the new iPod's are so new and good, they can't mess them up enough to get the sad iPod(or the folder icon)! Maybe CQ picked out all of the iPods before they got into the hands of the web division of Apple! Maybe they just weren't in the mood to take new pictures!

The iMac uses a desktop CPU while the Samsung uses a mobile CPU.
But the i7 2630qm beats the i3 2100 CPU in the iMac by a wide margin. In a passmark benchmark the is scores over 6,000 compared to the i3 which scores almost 4,000.
Here are the benchmark links:

So in this case the Samsung is a more powerful machine.
You can upgrade the 21.5'' to the i5 bud. Not such a huge difference. At the end of the day, the iMac's hardware is competitive, and also, notice he said the "SB iMac" whose GPU we don't really know about ATM. It's entirely possible Apple will chose a mobile i7 for the high-end 21.5'', but even if they keep the i5 as high-end, the main reason you get a mac is for Mac OS, and the majority of mac users who care about performance get a maxed out 27'' with SSDs, a maxed out boat anchor of a 17'' MBP, or a mac pro. The other offerings are not being sold to performance junkies most of the time...

Over on Appleinsider there is some speculation that the problem with the PM update has to do with dual CPUs (because the single G5 Xserves have been shipped, apparently with 90nm CPUs). If that's the case, tho, that wouldn't affect PBs...
